I have always dreamed of owning my own gallery and framing studio. In this past year, a cascade of events happened and for the first time I really began looking at the prospects of starting my own business as a reality. I have spent the better part of the last 15 years learning the ropes of the art and framing business ever since taking a part time job at a gallery in college. I spent many years mostly behind the scenes framing art and managing a frame shop. Then I had an opportunity to learn the front end of the gallery business with show promotion, corporate and residential sales. Now, along with being a certified fine art appraiser, I am putting all of my skills together.
